Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation

By  |

Another Tarte product review but I am a true ‘tartelette’ and my love for the Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation is true too!

As you may know Tarte isn’t available on the high street, the only place you can buy the products in the UK is QVCUK.

I’d been looking for a new liquid foundation to review on Crystal and Vanilla, so when Tarte shows were coming to QVCUK and the new Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation was coming to air, I was beyond excited!

Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation Kit1

Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation

  • A 20ml pot of foundation (shade Light for me)
  • A foundation brush

This Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation is marketed as a foundation with no fillers, oil free, no mineral oils and no synthetic fragrances.

Full of vitamins and good for your skin.

It will change the way you feel about your skin.

Pigments of coloured clay, not dyed or synthetic form a colour that stays true.

Taking two years to develop and available in 5 colour shades, it covers all ethnicities.

How Did I Get On?

  • Firstly, I found the foundation to be cooling on my sensitive skin.
  • The texture was water/serum like and it felt like I wasn’t wearing makeup.
  • I just pressed the brush into the mesh sifter and then buffed and blended the product onto my skin in outward even strokes.
  • The product didn’t budge for over 12 hours and the weather has been really hot just lately.
  • Easy and hygienic to use, there is no need to touch the foundation.
  • There is a mesh net delivery system; one pump is enough to do your entire face.
  • A top tip is to use the inside of the lid as a palette for your brush.
  • The finish was smooth and I got a beautiful even coverage with no streaks.
  • There is no wastage, no mess and you don’t have to wipe your hands or get the product out from under your finger nails.
  • It feels like light skincare.
  • Buildable coverage means it’s a day to night foundation.
  • The brush, Tarte are known for their fabulous quality makeup brushes and this one didn’t disappoint. No shedding during use and no streaking of the product. The kit is worth the money just for the brush.
  • Fun, but hard wearing packaging.

Would I recommend it?

Definitely, the Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation is my new favourite liquid foundation!

If you want a light weight but buildable coverage liquid foundation that’s good for your skin, give the Tarte Coloured Clay Liquid Foundation a try.

I don’t think you will be disappointed!
