Benefit Do The Hoola

By  |

Benefit is known for putting together some fabulous kits and Benefit Do The Hoola, I think is one their best.

All the products in this kit are to bronze your complexion, lips and eyes, so before you know it you will emerge as the bronzed goddess that you’ve been longing to become!

One of the products you can’t get anywhere else yet apart from this kit!

I purchased this kit from QVCUK.

Benefit Do The Hoola

  • Hoola Bronzer – This is the UKs bestselling bronzer and has been for the last 6 years. This iconic bronzer is matt, so there’s no shimmer or glitter. There are no red or orange pigments within it, so it leaves a natural finish on your skin. It comes in its own little snap shut box. Apply it in a figure of 3 either side of your face with the brush (which has been made especially for this kit) and anywhere where the sun would naturally hit your face. You can use it to make your nose look smaller by sculpting down the sides of your nose. I’ve used it as eyeshadow with no problems.
  • Dew The Hoola – This is a liquid version of the Hoola bronzer! You can’t get it anywhere else at the moment apart from this kit; it’s not on the market yet! This will give your skin a sheer, healthy, radiant and youthful glow. It’s a matt product, so no shimmer. As you can see from my photo, there is colour to it. I’m very fair and it just gave my skin a pop of colour with no orange base. You can use it on its own or over foundation. It’s not fake tan, but you can use it over your fake tan to enhance the colour. After application, this product made my skin look awake, there was no patchiness and it’s something I would recommend as beach makeup if you don’t like going bare faced. To apply, start at the centre of your face and work outwards, it has a gel like texture and feels lightweight. You can then apply your Hoola over the top. Your skin will look dewy and healthy.
  • They’re Real Mascara – This is the UKs bestselling mascara and one of my favourites. The mascara in this kit is a small size but the wand is full size. You will see that the wand has what I call ‘little grabbers’ at the end. If you turn the wand vertically, these little grabbers will grab every little lash that the bigger sides of the wand doesn’t. I always say, do your bottom lashes first, that way you don’t get mascara marks when you look up. Use the grabber part of the wand for the bottom lashes. This product adds length, volume and makes your lashes look thicker, giving you that false lash look.
  • BeneBalm – This is a lovely hydrating, tinted lip balm. This is not a solid lip colour, as you can see in my photograph, it’s a sheer colour and I was left with a rosy glow after application.
  • Hoola Lipgloss – This matches the bronzer and will leave a shiny hydrating finish to your lips. As you can see in my photograph the colour is true to the colour you see in the tube.
  • A mirror built into the box.
  • Tips and Tricks booklet.

Would I Recommend The Kit?

  • If you have never tried Benefit products before, then this kit is a good place to start.
  • The price is fabulous; it’s a ‘try me’ kit.
  • If you only want to take a few pieces of makeup with you on holiday then this kit is ideal.
  • All of the products, you can take out of the box if you want to pop them into your makeup bag.
  • The packaging makes the kit great for gifting.
  • The products are numbered in the box; the numbers correspond to the numbers in the Tips and Tricks booklet so it’s fool proof bronzing!
  • I would say, if you have never tried bronzing before the Benefit Do The Hoola kit is the perfect way to get started. You have the instructions for use, a mirror and a brush, all you need in one place!

Come on Girls, let’s start bronzing, it makes such a fabulous difference to your look.

If you’re looking to try out some of the Benefit makeup, I would definitely recommend the Benefit Do The Hoola Kit to get a great cross section of their products.

Such a useful kit to own. I wish they included a Blush too instead of the Lip balm maybe. I love their blushes x

The kits are fab aren’t they! I used a blush out of another kit that I have, I’d love lots more products in the kit but then the box would have to be massive! Thanks for getting in touch x
