Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar – Did you know that there are so many ways in which you can use that bottle of apple cider vinegar that you may have in your kitchen cupboard?
But not all apple cider vinegars are the same, some are bitter but if you have the ‘mother’ within your vinegar then it’s a whole different story.
The ‘mother’, what’s that I hear you say!
For a number of years I’ve always had a bottle of Bragg Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar to hand.
Apart from drinking it, there are many surprising ways in which you can use it effectively.
Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is made from organically grown apples and is full of zesty natural goodness and contains the amazing ‘mother’ of the vinegar.
The ‘mother’ of the vinegar occurs naturally as connected strand-like chains of protein enzyme molecules.
You’ll see sediment at the bottom of the bottle and the vinegar will also look cloudy.
The ‘mother’ is created through the fermentation process and is full of live bacteria that are highly regarded throughout history.
This type of apple cider vinegar is sweet when you drink it, not that face pulling sour taste you get from everyday clearer looking vinegar.
Nothing else is added, no flavourings, colourants or preservatives.
It is said that in 400B.C. Hippocrates used apple cider vinegar for its amazing natural cleansing, healing and energizing health properties.
I use it not only as a cleansing drink but also as a delicious flavour to salads, vegetables and even sprinkled over popcorn.
My favourite way of using apple cider vinegar is a pick me up tonic three times a day, once on waking, once mid- morning and once mid-afternoon.
I always rinse my mouth with water afterwards though as apple cider vinegar is very acidic.
