Cho Drinking Gazpacho

By  |

I was delighted and excited when I was asked if I would like to review Cho Drinking Gazpacho.

So when 6 bottles (2 of each of the flavours on the market) arrived at my door I was excited to get started.

Anybody who follows Crystal and Vanilla regularly will know that I love my juices and infused waters, so I was keen to try this award winning salad in a bottle.

Made from all natural ingredients and 2 of your 5 a day, this drinking gazpacho is marketed as unique goodness that’s a healthy alternative to sweet drinks.

Cho Drinking Gazpacho

  • Tomato and Strawberry (2 bottles) – Ripe strawberries and organic tomatoes are blended with red and green peppers. This is added to mountain spring water and a full tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Two of your five a day and 120 calories per bottle.
  • Beetroot and Apple (2 bottles) – Earthy beetroot and crisp apples are blended with Cho Gazpacho to make this flavour. Two of your five a day and 113 calories per bottle.
  • Tomato and Pepper ( 2 bottles) – Organic tomatoes and red and green peppers are blended with Sierra Nevada spring water, a full tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and a hint of garlic to bring you this flavour. Two of your five a day and 155 calories per bottle.

What Did I Think?

  • I drank or used these drinks straight from the fridge.
  • Tomato and Strawberry – Quite a creamy texture, I thought there was some sweetness because the strawberry was very apparent. I drank this without adding anything to it and I found it lovely and refreshing. Fabulous on a hot day.
  • Beetroot and Apple – A very earthy, rich taste for me. I love beetroot and I could really taste the beetroot more than the apple. I added some Tamari sauce to this flavour and it tasted delicious.
  • Tomato and Pepper – Although this tasted delicious on its own, this is where I started mixing and stirring! You know me; I’m always looking for ways to add flavour to my dishes. So this flavour became a sauce to add depth to my Quorn Shepherds Pie! I added this beautiful tomato and pepper flavour to some Quorn, mushrooms and basil and it thickened and became a wonderful sauce. Absolutely delicious and this is the flavour that is my most favourite and that I will be using again.

Would I Recommend Cho!?

  • Definitely, I had an idea I would love Cho! Drinking Gazpacho.
  • The taste is clean and refreshing and I definitely felt that I was putting goodness into my body.
  • As a snack, this is ready to hand; I would say it would be best served chilled.
  • As flavouring, this product is brilliant. The Quorn in the pie I made, took on the tomato and pepper flavour within 10 minutes and made the Quorn really moist and flavoursome.

As someone who is always searching for healthy products that will enrich my body, this product is definitely on my ‘good stuff’ list.

If you’re looking for something different and a great alternative to sweet drinks then I would definitely recommend buying Cho Drinking Gazpacho.
