Protein Shake Recipes – Tired of drinking the same old boring protein shakes?

I buy Whey Protein then add my own mix to make my protein shake taste extra special. Not only does it lift the taste experience but it adds to the nutrients that you are putting into your body.

Using only a handful of extra ingredients, I always make my own, throwing all sorts of goodness into the blender mix.

I’ll show you quick and easy it is to make your own protein shake in seconds.

Survey your refrigerator, and I’m sure that you will have all the ingredients that you need to create your own delicious shake, quick as a flash!

Be creative, through trial and error you will find a way to make something your taste buds will adore and your body truly appreciate.

So let’s get energised with my Nut Butter Protein Shake recipe and before you know it, you’ll be ready to hit the gym or walk the dog with gusto!

Protein Shake Recipes

  • 1 scoop of any flavour protein powder (I’m using Strawberry Jam Roly Poly Impact Whey Powder from MYPROTEIN)
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (I’m using almond nut butter)
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • ½ a frozen banana without the skin
  • 3-5 ice cubes

How To Make Your Protein Shake

  • Pop the frozen banana into a blender (I use a Vitamix)
  • Add the nut butter.
  • Add the scoop of protein powder.
  • Follow with the almond milk.
  • Lastly add the ice cubes.
  • Blend for around 45 seconds until you get a smooth consistency shake.

This is one of my favourite shakes prior to a workout and one that helps me get the best out of the time I put aside to keep fit and healthy.
