Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette

By  |

I know! Another Tarte product review but this is glamour makeup that is good for your skin. So today is all about the Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette.

If you have never come across Tarte before then all the ingredients that go into Tarte products are sourced from Mother Nature and contain no synthetic fragrances.

Amazonian clay is collected from the banks of the Amazon River; this clay balances the skin if it’s oily and repairs the moisture barriers if the skin is dry.

The only place in the UK that you can buy a Tarte product is from QVCUK and this kit is new to them, it’s also a limited edition.

Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette and Brush1

Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette

  • The Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette, this includes a bronzer and a 12 hour blush and highlighter.
  • A custom made double ended brush.
  • A substantial sized mirror within the compact.

What Can The Products Do For You?

  • The bronzer awakens your face and adds warmth.
  • Using the softer end of the brush, you can contour away a double chin by applying the product in the middle of your chin and down the centre of the neck. This will create a shadow and also give the illusion of a longer, slimmer neck.
  • To give a rounder face some cheekbones, purse your lips! Right under where your cheeks have been pulled in apply the bronzer along the socket of the cheek bone. Apply along the jawline, across the forehead, down the nose (anywhere the sun would naturally hit your face) and blend in thoroughly.
  • To add a subtle blush to your face, smile so you can see the apples of your cheeks. Apply the blush to the centre of the apples of your cheeks.
  • To add highlight, starting from mid brow, trace your orbital socket downwards and then across your cheek bone.
  • To make your nose look smaller, apply the bronzer down the centre of your nose.
  • When using the brush, use the larger end for the bronzer and the stubbier end for the blush and highlighter.

What Did I Think Of The Kit?

  • The palette is luxurious to look at and it’s a good weight.
  • The bronzer/blush/highlighter are good sizes.
  • The brush does not shed and washes well.
  • The highlighter has no glitter or shimmer to it; it lifts and elongates your cheekbones.
  • The baby pink blush awakens your face.
  • The kit is suitable for all skin types and tones.

Would I Recommend It To You?

  • This kit is worth the purchase just for the brush in my opinion.
  • If you have pale skin like mine, the colours aren’t too strong.
  • The products are long wearing and the colours stay true.
  • The mirror is a great size.

If you are looking for new products to contour and sculpt, I would definitely recommend giving the Tarte Park Avenue Princess Contour Palette a try.

Love that brush! I have the stick versions of the Park Avenue Princess Bronzer, and they’re amazing. Tarte is one of my top 3 favorite brands! *Patiently waits for QVCUK to add the new Highlighter+Contour stick to their collection* x

I love any of the Tarte brushes! You could pay the price of the kit just for a brush on the High St! Love it when Tarte comes to QVC, I suspect you’re a ‘Tartlette’ just like me then!
