Beverly Hills Formula Black Toothpaste

When I was asked if I’d like to review the Beverly Hills Formula black toothpaste, I have to say I was very intrigued and a little unsure.

It looks like a tube of paint!

Having never used a product like it, my first thoughts were ‘Is it going to stain my teeth black and will it come off?’

After all, I didn’t want to audition for the next Oliver production, the local wench with blackened teeth selling apples!

But as the product sat nicely under the Crystal and Vanilla umbrella, I thought I’d try it out.

But I didn’t have to worry!

Beverly Hills Formula Black Toothpaste

• Helps remove surface and deep stains caused by tea, coffee, red wine, tobacco and spicy foods.
• Brightens, lightens and whitens your teeth.
• Helps eliminate bacteria causing bad breath and neutralises remaining odours.
• Fresh breath, all day long.
• Activated charcoal helps remove tannins from the surface of your teeth without harming the enamel.
• A low abrasive property means less damage to your teeth.

How To Use

• Use 2-3 times a day.
• Pop on your toothbrush and brush your teeth.

Results

• I used the product twice a day for two weeks, once in the morning and once in the evening.
• I found the taste to be very pleasant, there was no bitterness.
• If I didn’t know the colour was black, I would have thought this was ordinary white toothpaste because it tastes like my normal white toothpaste.
• It didn’t stain my toothbrush.
• It didn’t stain my teeth black.
• When mixed with water/my saliva it turned a light grey colour.
• Compared to my normal white minty toothpaste, there was less frothiness created in my mouth.
• The toothpaste didn’t stain my bathroom sink.
• I was left with a squeaky clean feeling across my teeth after I’ve used it.
• I drink a lot of tea, in the two weeks that I’ve used the Beverly Hills Formula black toothpaste I have noticed a positive difference in the colour of my teeth.
• The only down side was I found my lips dried out more than when I used my normal toothpaste, I rectified this by using a good quality lip balm after I’d brushed my teeth. But for the all the positives of using this product, this was a minor point.

Would I Use It Again?

• Definitely, I think my teeth look whiter and my mouth feels fresher.
• I have a dentist appointment in July; it will be interesting to see whether he will see a difference.
